Tu B'Shvat Seder!!
This week at Midreshet we had more celebrations for Tu B’Shvat. On Thursday afternoon girls packed up bags of fruit and some art supplies and headed to the Pediatric floor of Shaarei Tzedek. They offered fruit and other Tu B’Shvat goodies as well as some pictures to color. When the girls finished visiting the children in Shaarei Tzedek they headed to other parts of the Hospital to cheer people us and share fruit with them.
That night there was a beautiful and inspiring seder Tu B’Shvat planned by the madrichot. The girls had a chance to taste some of the delicious fruit of Eretz Yisroel while they shared Torat Eretz Yisroel. The night concluded with Rikudei Am (Israeli dancing) and everyone had a wonderful time.
Now things are settling back to normal and everyone seems to be bracing themselves because Rosh Chodesh Adar is right around the corner.
