Midreshet Moriah
First week of Midreshet 5770!
Midreshet class of '09-'10 has arrived, and the fun has already begun! After a breath-taking welcome overlooking Har Ha-Bayyit and a BBQ at the Rav Eitan’s, we had an amazing Shabbat Ba-Bayyit together with lots of staff (including the Mayers, Reves's, Berglas's, Krohns, Starrs and Zibmans). We began to make friends and began what will surely be a year-long love of Torah and Marzipan Rugelach! Sunday after orientation, we headed out to the beach, where we shmoozed and picnicked on the sand and then made delicious s’mores at our little bonfire before hearing from Bracha about the importance of making connections between with our history this year. This week was also registration, when we pick all the classes we have been looking forward to taking. They all sounded so good, it was so hard to choose! Looking forward to a week of learning before heading out to Beit She’an for Rosh Hashana!!
