Shlomo Katz Concert!!!
This week's highlight was the incredible Shlomo Katz fundraiser concert for this year's tzedaka project, helping the community of Chevron. After weeks of preparation, all under the careful direction of Rakezet Rena Coren, the beautiful event was held in the Midreshet Beit Midrash on Monday night. It was an evening filled with incredible energy, as the students ran different stations -- selling handmade headbands and homebaked goods, raffling off many prizes donated by vendors throughout Jerusalem -- with ALL proceeds towards this important cause. The Beit Midrash was filled with hundreds of students, as many students from other seminaries came to participate in the concert. Shlomo Katz did an outstanding job performing, as the ruach in the room was energetic and contagious. Our hope is that the money raised over this evening will serve to help the community of Chevron.
